Late at night two glide bombs hit a suburban supermarket, destroying the small shopping complex. The aftershock from the blast knocked out and damaged and destroyed apartments and kiosks 100 metres over the road. Scores of people suddenly, in a flash of light, found themselves homeless and in need of food, blankets and shelter
